The Sarasota Ballet of Florida is a professional resident company, founded in 1989. Under Artistic Director/CEO Robert de Warren, it has achieved world-class standing for its eclectic programming, and has been chosen Best Performing Arts Group for eight consecutive years by Sarasota Magazine. The Ballet is also recognized for its educational and community service, including the School of the Sarasota Ballet and its unique Dance--The Next Generation program designed for at-risk youth.
